Product lines are used to add all product lines manufactured by the organization (or an organization’s suppliers) to the application. Product line refers to a line of the same parts that have slightly different characteristics, such as wheels, markers, cases, and acids. Other names for product lines include: product types, item groups, product groups, commodity codes, product family, etc. Each part number configured in the SmartSolve application must be attached to a product line.
User Rights
The following rights must be assigned to a user for that user to manage or view product lines:
